Saltillo wins 2 against Roxton

Jan. 26, 2008 - Saltillo swept Roxton on Friday as both the Lions and Lady Lions continued their unbeaten streaks through District 22-A.

SALTILLO - Saltillo senior post Stephanie Methe had a big game for the No. 1-ranked Lady Lions on Friday, scoring all 21 of her points in the first three quarters.
Methe had 15 first-half points as Saltillo lead 32-4 at the break. Brooke Lane added seven points and Winter Johnson six for Saltillo (25-2 overall, 11-0 in District 22-A).
Wesley led Roxton with 11 points.

SALTILLO - Four players scored in double figures for the Lions as they continued their unblemished trek through District 22-A.
Derek McClure scored 24 points to pace the Lions (24-3, 11-0), while Jocsan Gamez added 13, Steven Mobley 11 and Nolan Garmon 10.
The Lions exploded for a 25-point four quarter to expand their 42-32 lead. McClure had 10 of his points in the final period.
Earls had 17 points to pace Roxton.
