Pewitt's too much for Cooper to handle

Sept. 16, 2007 - COOPER - Facing a tough Paul Pewitt football team, the Cooper Bulldogs suffered their third straight loss with a 38-13 defeat at home Friday night.

The Bulldogs had 222 yards of total offense as Andre Larry led the way with 77 yards rushing on 16 carries and a 13-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. Teammate Adrian Migura had three totes for 46 yards rushing, while Gaylon Bacy and Garrett McGraw each had nine carries for 35 yards.

McGraw also went 1-for-4 for 29 yards, with his completion going to Miguel Monroy.

The Bulldogs' other touchdown was scored by Peewee Jeffrey on a 3-yard run in the third quarter.

The Bulldogs will travel to Mesquite on Saturday to face the Teague Lions in a 2 p.m. kickoff at Mesquite Memorial Stadium.
