Shelby Williamson and Jonathan Friddle followed with singles and Jake Spataro finished up the scoring with a sacrifice fly to right field. The Wildcats scored in four of the first five innings. Suggs, Higginbotham, Spataro and Wimberly each had two hits. Wimberly also had 3 RBI.
Game 2: SS 5 Crandall 4

But in the bottom of the fifth, Bryce Jenkins led off with a double to right centerfield. Shane McQueen followed with a single, and with one out Higginbotham drew a walk to load the bases. Suggs then knocked a three-run triple to right centerfield to tie the game. Then, Mason Morton executed a safety squeeze to perfection scoring Suggs for the win.
Jenkins picked up the win as he gave up one earned run and struck out seven in five innings. Offensively, Suggs went 3-for-3 (all extra-base hits) with four RBI.
