Sulphur Springs middle school girls sweep North Lamar

Dec. 14, 2005 - The Sulphur Springs Middle School girls swept a pair of home games from North Lamar on Monday.

The SSMS eighth-grade "A" team beat the Pantherettes, 37-19, with Stephanie Pruitt leading the team with 19 points, five rebounds and four steals.

Taylor Clifton added four points and three rebounds, Jamonica Hall contributed five rebounds, and Chasity Hall had five steals. Miranda Conway and Maurie Lewis had four and three points, respectively.

Kate Cody pulled down four rebounds and Daci West had three. Mac Morgan added two steals and two points.

The Lady Cat "B" team won their game, 17-7, as Mia Taylor led the way with five points, three steals and three rebounds. Baylee Speaker and Dani Johnson each scored four points, and Linsey Fouse had four steals and two points.
