The Raiders kicked off to start the game, and Sabine started driving, but Smedley's first fumble return of 47 yards gave Winnsboro a 7-0 lead. Sabine's next drive ended on downs, but the Cardinals got the ball right back on a fumble on Winnsboro's first offensive play.
Sabine cashed in the turnover for a TD, then got the ball right back when Winnsboro again fumbled on their next play.
Down 14-7, the Raiders came back on an 80-yard bomb from quarterback Josh Neiswander to receiver Colby Noble. That drew Winnsboro even at 14-14, and Sabine didn't challenge after that.
Neiswander finished nine-of-11 for 252 yards and three touchdowns.
