| SSMS girls win pair from Paris |

Nov. 20, 2004 - The Sulphur Springs eighth-grade girls won a pair of games from Paris Crockett Middle School on Thursday. The "A" team won, 44-10 with Delandria Lewis leading all scorers with 11 points to go with eight rebounds. Katie Dodd and Erika Garrett added 10 points each, while Mackenzie Cross added four points and a team-high 10 steals. Breanne Mills led the rebounding effort with nine. Jamie and Kayle Askins each added two assists. In the "B" game, Sulphur springs took an 18-15 victory with Krista McMahan leading the team with eight points and seven steals. Chelsey Romans contributed four points. The girls return to action at 4:30 p.m. Monday when they host Mount Pleasant. |
