Nov. 15, 2004 - It doesn't get any easier once you get to the playoffs.

The Sulphur Springs Wildcats will take their 9-2 record into the second round of the Class 4A, Division II playoffs on Saturday when they play Dallas Lincoln (9-1). The game is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at SMU's Ford Stadium.

Lincoln, the District 10-4A champion, is coming off a 48-7 bi-district win over Lake Dallas. Sulphur Springs beat Terrell, 38-34, on Friday to advance to the area round.

Their lone loss came Sept. 10 against Denton Ryan, 30-7, and a scheduled game on Oct. 1 against Highland Park was canceled due to weather.
