March 12, 2004 -- GREENVILLE -- Three North Hopkins pitchers combined for a two-hitter Saturday as the Panthers improved their record to 3-2 with an 11-3 victory over Greenville Christian.
Roy Warren started for the Panthers and picked up the win by throwing four innings, giving up three runs on two hits and three walks while striking out seven. He was followed by Josh McPherson and Jake Cockrum who combined for five strikeouts in three inning.
Sean Wilson had the big stick, going 3-for-4 with five RBIs, and McPherson added two hits and two runs. Cockrum also had a hit, a walk and scored three runs, while Warren and Chad Darlin each had a hit and scored twice, and Micah Walker stroked a hit and drove in a run.
