March 5, 2004 -- BIRTHRIGHT -- North Hopkins scored six runs in the sixth and seventh innings in a 6-5 come-from-behind win over Celeste Tuesday.
Chad Darlin was 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored, while Jake Cockrum was 2-for-2 with two walks and two runs. Steven Crocker was 1-for-2.
The Panthers (2-2) started a two-out rally in the bottom of the sixth, as Darlin hit a three-run homer to begin the comeback.
Celeste (2-2) retook the lead 5-4 in the top of the seventh, but Darlin came through again with an RBI double, and Roy Warren doubled home Darlin on a two-strike pitch for the win.
Cockrum and Micah Walker turned two double plays, and Josh McPherson pitched five innings of relief for the win, allowing three runs while walking one and striking out three. Warren went the first two innings, allowing two runs with five walks and five strikeouts.
Stephen Wilson threw a complete game but suffered a tough-luck loss, walking three and striking out 13 Panther batters.

Cumby 4, Saltillo 3
CADDO MILLS -- Mika Robertson threw five solid innings of relief with 11 strikeouts, and Jake Petty had two RBIs to lead Cumby past Saltillo to finish fourth at the Caddo Mills Tournament.
Robertson (1-0) gave up three runs, all unearned, three hits and walked two. He also had an RBI along with Brandon Brown. John Bendall started the game and struck out three in two innings. The Lions scored all three of their runs on two passed balls and an error on a pickoff attempt at third base.
The Trojans (2-2) face Honey Grove at 1 p.m. Thursday in the first round of the Celeste Tournament.
