Funeral services for Eddie Joe Hall Jr., 43, of Sulphur Springs were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Rudy Ellis and Pastor Willis Taylor officiating.
Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Charles Perry, Mario Thomas, Ray Mitchell, Anthony Mosley, Reginald Thomas and James Jones serving as pallbearers. Jamey Johnson, Corey Hall, Waynzesky Hall, James Johnson, Joseph Finnie and Trey Edwards will serve as honorary pallbearers.
No formal visitation was held.
Mr. Hall died Sunday, Oct. 15, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.
Eddie Joe Hall was born March 23, 1963, in Sulphur Springs, the son of Eddie Joe and Betty Hall.
Mr. Hall was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He attended public school in Sulphur Springs.
Survivors include, four sisters, Lonzetta Chisom of Dallas, and Margaret Mills, Cherry Johnson and Ann Brooks, all of Sulphur Springs; and one brother, Jimmy Hall of Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
