Grand Jury returns 107 indictments

Sept. 30, 2008 - The Hopkins County Grand Jury approved 107 indictments against 63 people during its September jury session. They included:
? Aramis Diaz Lausell, injury to a child "by striking the victim several times in the abdomen with the defendant's fist, telling him to shut up and squeezing [the] victim very hard."
? John William Davis, injury to a disabled individual. He is alleged in March to have grabbed a disabled woman's shirt and pushed her, causing injury.
? Jose Santos Aguilar, assault on a public servant. He is alleged in December 2007 to have kicked a jailer in the groin.
? Also indicted for assault on a public servant was Jeffery Eugene Dixon II. He is accused in July of htting deputy Paul Fenimore in the face during a traffic stop. Dixon was also indicted for possession of methamphetamine.
? Dutch James Hankins, aggravated assault. He is alleged in May to have caused serious bodily injury to a female by pouring boiling liquid on her breast and torso.
? Rocky Don Crocker, two counts aggravated assault and one count of unauthorized use of a vehicle. He is alleged in March to have threatened two family members by pointing a pistol at them and pulling the trigger. In June, he is alleged to have taken stolen a pickup .
? Joe Guzman, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in August.
? Christopher Allen Morris and Timothy Blake Merrill, burglary of a habitation with intent to steal the prescription medication Zoma in May.
? Meredith Lauren Reuse, credit or debit card abuse. She is alleged in July to have presented a family member's credit card at a local attorney's office and didn't have permission to use it.
? Jose Alfred Hernandez Morales, nine charges of sexual assault of a female less then 17 years old between January and November of 2007.
? Oscar Peruse Zuniga, six charges of sexual assault of a female less than 17 years old between January and June.
? Dameon Kendall Moore, two counts of sexual assault of two females less than 17 years of age in August.
? David Heath Fouse, three charges of aggravated sexual assault of a female less than 14 years old and three charges sexual assault of a female less than 17 years old. Fouse is alleged to have sexually assaulted three girls, the youngest in October 1998, another in June and May of 2000, and a third in January 2008.
Several individuals were indicted for indecency with a child:
? Elbert Wayne Kennemer, indecency with a female less than 17 years old in November 2007.
? James Timothy Baxter, 12 charges of indecency with a child between May and December 2005.
Theft indictments included:
? Yadira Aguilar Darden, theft of a large sum of money from Arbala Volunteer Fire Department from April 2006 to summer 2008.
? Michael James Kennemer, for allegedly stealing a firearm in June.
? Baltazar Hernandez and Jose A. Rodriguez, theft of a Polaris ATV and Lo Jack Tracking Unit from Hopkins County Sheriff's Office in July
? David Wayne Cook, theft of a Dell combination printer, scanner and copier in July.
? Troy Dean Blanton, for stealing insulated wire from an electric company in October 2007.
? Steven Eric Moore, theft of copper wire in April.
? Richard B. Enyart, theft by check of cattle from Sulphur Springs Livestock in April 2007.
? Kevin Gerald Alexander, theft by check of tires in March.
? Alexander Preston King, theft of service in February.
? James Edward Jeffery Jr., theft of a Yamaha ATV in July 2007
? Melissa Oneal Petty, theft of currency and merchandise from a businessman in December 2007
Among the other indicments:
? Kirk Douglas Bolton, possession of 4 grams to 200 grams of cocaine and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence in June.
? Britni Jenny Ann Dewberry, Michael Joseph Thorns, Richard Paul Breaux Jr. and Melissa Gail Breaux, for unlawful use of criminal instrument and engaging in organized criminal activity. All three are alleged in June to have used a scanner and small printer to manufacture fake sales receipts to obtain merchandise. Melissa Breaux was also indicted for possession of 1 to 4 grams of methamphetamine.
? Susan Rae Bowers, Jeremy Leon Bahm and James Bryson Harris, engaging in criminal activity. They are alleged in October 2007 to have collaborated to commit theft.
Indicted on marijuana charges were:
? Quincy D. Anderson, possession of 4 ounces to 5 pounds, July 2007
? Kerry Henry Bass, possession of 5 to 50 pounds, August 2007
? Bryan David Brady, possession of 4 ounces to 5 pounds, December 2007
? Johnny Govea and Pablo Espinoza, possession of 5 to 50 pounds, September 2007
? Faron Cordale Pittman, possession of 5 to 50 pounds, August 2007
? Vohaunce Latron Murphy, possession of 5 to 50 pounds, August 2007
Indicted on other drug charges were:
? Everett Lloyd Jr. Brown, possession of 1 to 4 grams of methamphetamine and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence in March.
? Jason Scott Flowers, possession of less than one gram of methamphetamine, April
? Billy Charles Franklin, possession of less than one gram of cocaine, February
? Mary Anne Forrester, possession of less than one gram of cocaine, August 2007
? David Cardal Nelson, possession of 400 grams or more of cocaine, July
? Sandra Kay Morgan, possession of 4 to 200 grams of oxycodone, January
? Ivan Benjamin Isham, two charges of possessing less than 28 grams of dihydrocodeinone in August 2007.
? Eric Trent Jennings, possession of less than one gram of methamphetamine in August 2007.
? Jerry Wayne Hill Jr., possession of 1 to 4 grams of methamphetamine in March.
? Jeramie McGill, delivery of 1/4 ounce to 5 pounds of marijuana.
Others indicted for offenses included:
? Robert Lee Brock, driving while intoxicated, third or more offense
? Chaddrick Tremaine Johnson, two charges of forgery, one for a fake $100 bill in October 2007, and another by filling out a check and signing the victim's name in August 2007
? Jackie Glen Morgan, driving while intoxicated, third or more offense, November 2007
? Jerry Lee Miller, assault family violence (enhanced) of a female member of the defendant's household, August 2007
? Maria Waldrep, interference with child custody by enticing her child, whom she did not have custody of, to leave her custodial parent in March.
? Jerry Dean Brast, fraudulent use or possession of identifying information by using another man's Social Security number to open a store credit card account in August 2001.
? Dorothy Hope Simpson, criminal mischief, by vandalizing a coin operated machine and causing damage in September 2007.
? Terri Barton, forgery by filling out a check and signing the victim's name to it in June.
? Lacinda Kay Leber, fraud by using a prescription form to possess or obtain hydrocodone in May.
? Robert Charles, unlawful possession on a firearm by a felon, June.
? James Seth Bain, bail jumping and failure to appear, November 2007.
