2007 SSHS graduate dies after motorcycle/automobile crash

March 24, 2008 - A 2007 Sulphur Springs High School graduate died Sunday following a collision involving a motorcycle and automobile, sources said today.
Tyhler Reppond, 18, died Sunday afternoon at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs. Burial will follow at Seymore Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
No reports on the accident were available Monday morning, and none of the officers involved in investigating the fatality crash were available.
A call to the lead accident investigator had not been returned at press time.
Tyhler Reppond graduated from Sulphur Springs High School in 2007. He was a member of the Wildcat football team. He was active in Wildcat TV and drama, earning All-Star Cast recognition as a member of the SSHS One-Act Play team. His work in the theater department also earned Reppond the 2007 Thespian Scholarship, given each year to an outstanding graduating student.
Throughout Sunday night and into Monday morning, friends and acquaintances visited Reppond's MySpace page to express their sorrow.
"You were such an amazing person, you will always be remembered," wrote -megan<3.
Another recalled a friend who was always there for his teammates, whatever the endeavor.
"You were a team player whether if it was in football or theater or whatever you were participating in," wrote another. "Growing up with you through the middle school and high school years you have brought so many experiences to me that I wouldnt have thought about until now ... you were one amazing guy and you will be missed."
"You are amazing and I am so Glad God gave me such a great friend as you!" added another. "We all miss you very very very much."
