Bucking bulls and bullfighters coming to Civic Center Aug. 15-16

August 5, 2008 - Some of the biggest names on the Professional Bull Riders tour will be coming to Sulphur Springs this month for a two-night "extravaganza."

Organizers of the Lone Star Dodge Colby Yates Challenge, presented by Priefert Ranch Equipment of Mount Pleasant, were holding a press conference at noon today to announce the details of the upcoming event at the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center, scheduled for Friday, Aug. 15, and Saturday, Aug. 16.

The Lone Star Dodge Colby Yates Challenge will include an American Bucking Bull Inc. Classic competition and a Professional Bullfighters Tour event.

Some of the key players of the event who were scheduled to be at the announcement today include PBR bull rider Colby Yates and Jim McLain of the Professional Bull Fighters Tour.

Tickets are $16 in advance and $21 at the gate. Advance tickets may be purchased at Circle E Western Wear and the Civic Center box office, or by calling 903-885-8071.
