Early voting underway in city, school board elections

May 1, 2006 - Early voting got underway Monday morning in the May 13 municipal and school board elections and will continue through Tuesday, May 9.

A two-way race, between Oscar Aguilar and Pat Murray, for the Place 3 seat on Sulphur Springs City Council is on the ballot for city voters. 

In Sulphur Springs Independent School District, two at-large seats on the school board will be on the May ballot.

Incumbent school trustee Judy Gillem along with Don Sapaugh and Oscar Medelline are on the school district ballot.

Early voting in the Sulphur Springs city Council Election, as well as Sulphur Springs Independent School District trustee election, is being conducted in the Council Room, 125 South Davis.
