Free summer movie set Aug. 3 at A&M-Commerce Recreation Center
From Staff Reports

July 27, 2006 -- COMMERCE -- The public is invited to beat the heat and enjoy a free movie by coming to the Morris Recreation Center at Texas A&M University-Commerce on Thursday, Aug. 3.

"Over the Hedge" will be shown at the pool at 9 p.m.

This G-rated, family-friendly animated feature focuses on R.J., a traveling raccoon con artist who arrives in the woods outside a city inhabited by humans only to find that the animals living there are deathly afraid of people.

With encouragement from R.J., the local animals slowly venture over the hedge into the suburbs in the fast-paced comedy.

Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served starting at 8:30 p.m. For information, call 903-886-5814.

Breakout Entertainment and Campus Recreation are sponsoring the event. The public is invited to attend.
