|Kerns named CEO of GSC Enterprises
Mike Bain assigned to COO post, Ryan McKenzie to vice president

Jan. 17, 2006 - GSC Enterprises Inc. Chairman Mickey McKenzie recently announced several executive assignments for the company, including chief executive officer.
�Larry Kerns, currently president of GSC and a member of the board of directors, has been named President and Chief Executive Officer.� Kerns has served in various management positions since joining GSC in March of 1993.
Mike Bain, currently vice president of distribution, has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer. Bain joined GSC in 1978 and has served on the board of directors since 2000. He has managed various distribution centers over the years and has served as an officer since 1995.
Ryan McKenzie, currently part of the management team in San Antonio and a member of the board of directors, has been named vice president of systems and planning. McKenzie is a graduate of Texas Tech University and has been located in San Antonio the past five years. He and his wife, KK, will remain in San Antonio at this time.
Mickey McKenzie will continue to serve as chairman of the board.
GSC is a leading full-service distributor of grocery and convenience products. The company is on the Forbes list of America's largest private companies with annual revenues estimated at just over than $1 billion. Four operating divisions comprise the company: GSC-Sulphur Springs, GSC-Southeast located in Pensacola, Fla., GSC-San Antonio, and Fidelity Express located in Sulphur Springs. A new warehouse is under construction in Junction City, Kans., and will be moved into by April 1 of this year. GSC Enterprises Inc. has 1,200 associates and utilizes warehouse space in excess of 1.4 million square feet. The distribution centers and Fidelity Express, a provider of money orders, electronic bill pay and other financial services, operate in 22 states.
