Economic conference filling up fast

Dec. 3, 2006 - More than 300 people have already reserved tickets for Wednesday’s Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce  Economic Outlook Conference and luncheon. The conference is a cooperative effort of the Chamber and the Sulphur Springs/Hopkins County Economic Development Corporation. The featured speaker is noted economist Dr. Ray Perryman, who will deliver the message on "How the Economies of the State, Nation and World will Affect North East Texas." Specifically, he will speak on the economic outlook for Hopkins, Hunt, Delta, Lamar, Franklin and Titus counties

Tickets for the luncheon are $10, and advance registration must be made — seating is limited. The conference will be held in the Exhibit Hall of the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center. Local business leaders are encouraged to call the Chamber at 903-885-6515 to reserve their place at the event.
