Coleman earns Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation
From Staff Reports

Aug. 31, 2006 -- Chris Coleman of the financial services firm Edward Jones has earned the professional designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist after completing the AAMS professional education program from the Denver-based College for Financial Planning.

The advanced training offers investment professionals the hands-on information needed to provide planning-oriented asset management advice. Study topics included understanding the asset management process, understanding asset allocation, and strategies.

Also, Coleman recently received the Jack Phelan Blue Blazer Award for outstanding performance over the past year. The award was named for Edward Jones' former sales manager, Jack Phelan. The blue blazer, complete with special Edward Jones insignia buttons, is similar to the one worn by the legendary Phelan.

"When you work for a firm that is known for its outstanding service, it's quite an honor to be singled out for your service record," Coleman said. "We also know that prospective clients choose who they want to do business with and we thank them for choosing us."

James D. Weddle, Edward Jones managing partner, stated Coleman embodies the company's concepts.

"Chris is an outstanding member of the Edward Jones team who personifies the ideal investment representative, someone who is 100 percent dedicated to serving the financial needs of his clients," Weddle said.

Coleman has been serving the Sulphur Springs area since 2001.
