Former SS resident Berry named KMG manager

Aug. 24, 2006 --HOUSTON -- KMG Chemicals, Inc. announced Wednesday that Randy Berry, a former longtime resident of Sulphur Springs, has been named Business Manager -- Animal Health for the Animal Health Division of KMG Chemicals.

Berry, who is based in Houston, has served as KMG Animal Health Product Manager for the past three years.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Buel Berry.

Berry will now direct the day-to-day animal health business for KMG Chemicals, which includes the integration of the newly purchased U.S. insecticide business from Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica Inc. (BIVI) into their existing products portfolio, as well as further developing their external sales force and internal support staffs.

“Randy’s extensive knowledge of the animal health industry, as well as his past experience in food animal production systems, makes him the ideal person to lead KMG’s Animal Health Division,” stated Neal Butler, President and Chief Execuitve Officer of KMG Chemicals.
