April 14, 2006 -- A 41-year-old Sulphur Springs man died and a 33-year-old man received minor injuries in a head-on collision on State Highway 11 about nine miles east of Como just before 4 a.m. Friday.
Ralph Henry Wright was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by Justice of the Peace Yvonne King.
Investigating highway patrol officers said the pickup driven by Wright apparently crossed into the path of an oncoming milk truck driven by Christopher Moore.
After colliding with the pickup, the 18-wheeler then ran off the road and crashed through a mobile home.
Officers at the scene said Moore only received minor facial and arm lacerations in the crash. No one was injured in the mobile home.
Department of Public Safety investigators were still on the accident scene early Friday morning.
