Grand jury returns 27 indictments

May 27, 2005 - Grand jury activity in Hopkins County continued in May with another 27 felony indictments being handed up in the first of two sessions planned for this month.

The indictments include:

  • Charles Elton Rushing: Possession of a controlled substance
  • Felix Camarillo: Evading arrest
  • Jose Luis Gvanados: Sexual assault of child
  • Riley Howard, Jr.: Endangering a child; Evading arrest
  • Luther Lewis Hathcoat: Unauthorized use of a vehicle
  • Cathy Gray Derryberry: Unauthorized use of a vehicle
  • Jason Lee Garcia: Unauthorized use of a vehicle
  • April Hines Davis: Theft
  • Corey Lee Follis: Burglary of a building; Evading arrest
  • Sharon Sue Allen: Possession of a controlled substance
  • Jim Ollie Davis: Burglary of a building
  • Jose Luis Flores: Driving while intoxicated
  • Joanne Dettling Trowbridge: Fraudulent use of identifying information
  • Bruce Wayne Wood: Burglary of a habitation
  • Juan Ernesto Del-Toro: Possession of marijuana
  • Ezequiel Muniz Chavez: Driving while intoxicated
  • Tammy Deana Duffey Broxton: Forgery
  • Dethanie Ann Watson: Possession of marijuana; Theft; Prohibited substances in correctional facilities
  • Joseph Lee Venson: Possession of marijuana; Unlawful possession of firearm by felon
  • Joe Gene Whitehead: Forgery
  • Joshua Mark Pifer: Evading arrest
  • Amine Reda Siraj: Injury to a child

When someone is indicted by a grand jury, they are merely charged with a crime. It should not be considered as evidence of either guilt or innocence.
