July 21, 2005 -- A newly empannelled Hopkins County Grand Jury ended its first session for July by handing up eight felony indictments Wednesday, according to the office of 8th Judicial District Attorney Martin Braddy.
The grand jury indictments included:
Robert Lee Tadlock -- Assault family violence-enhanced
Morris Lynn Pryor -- Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle
Joshua Denham Roche -- Possession of controlled substance
Richard Lane Dyer -- Possession of controlled substance
Kristina Gayle Weeks -- Possession of controlled substance
Three sealed indictments were also returned by grand jurors. The district attorney declined to release any information until arrests were made on the indictments.
When someone is indicted by a grand jury, they are merely charged with a crime. It should not be considered as evidence of either guilt or innocence.
