July 13, 2005 -- Customers of North Hopkins Water Supply Corporation have been given the green light to resume outside watering, according to manager Billy Emerson.
Lou Jane Drummond, office manager for North Hopkins Water Supply Corporation, said Tuesday morning that the addition of an in-line booster pump has helped to resolve the problem, but asked customers to not waste water.
"Our customers may resume outside watering, but we ask them to be conservative with their water use," Mrs. Drummond said.
Two weeks ago, the water district had asked it customers to curtail outside watering because of an inability to get water into its two storage tanks.
