August 1, 2005 - School may not officially start until Monday, Aug. 15, but the halls at Sulphur Springs High School will be bustling with students on Friday, Aug. 12. And not just with students who will be attending school this year. Quite a few of last year’s seniors will be back on campus once more, at least for a brief while.

The Friday before school starts has been designated for schedule pickups, freshman orientation and for yearbook distribution at the school. All students picking up schedules are reminded to bring with them the AGR (age, grade, registration) forms which were mailed to each student.

The first order of business will be freshman orientation and annual pickup for students who graduated in May. Freshmen should plan to attend orientation, which begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at 11 a.m. in the high school cafeteria. Schedules will be distributed to ninth graders at that time as well.

Students who graduated in 2005 can also pickup their yearbooks from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12.

Students in grades 10, 11 and 12 can pick up their schedules from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. They can also pick up yearbooks during that time.
