|Record number enrolled at Sulphur Springs Center|

Sept. 23, 2004 -- The Paris Junior College-Sulphur Springs Center has reported its largest fall enrollment increase in three years, with a total of 719 students attending classes.
The current enrollment is 124 students more than the 595 that enrolled in the fall of 2003, a 21 percent increase.
"We are pleased that many people in our area are taking advantage of the educational opportunities offered here at the Center," said Director Dr. Linda Bennett. "New courses such as education and drafting, and other vocational and academic programs make our Center a place where people can accomplish their educational goals."
Since the fall of 2000, the Sulphur Springs Center has seen its enrollment increase by 334 students.
Throughout the Paris Junior College system, enrollment this fall is 4,209 students. This is an increase of 3.36 percent over last year's total enrollment of 4,072, and 15.66 percent over the fall of 2002 enrollment of 3,639.
