Murder, theft, drug indictments returned by grand jury

March 20, 2004 -- Following its March session, a Hopkins County Grand Jury handed up 35 felony indictments naming 27 individuals on charges ranging from murder to sexual assault of a child, driving while intoxicated and drug-related charges.

Those indicted include:

  • Aaron Mitchell Truelove-Burglary of a Habitation
  • Randall Bryan Wright-Burglary of a Habitation
  • Jose Monrreal-Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child
  • Kristi Lynn Emerine-Theft
  • Shelly Ruth Womack-Engaging in Organgized Criminal Activity
  • Shelly Ruth Womack-Forgery
  • Daniel Ramon-Intoxication Assault
  • John Arlin Walters-Murder
  • Roy Gene Whittle-Failure to Register as Sex Offender
  • Tammy Lashawn Grimes-Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Robert Eldon Holcomb-Delivery of Controlled Substance
  • Mark Ellis Frazier-Delivery of Controlled Substance
