Wildcats tame Bearcats, 7-1

The Sulphur Springs Wildcats rolled to their third straight district win, downing Sherman 7-1 in Friday night baseball action.
Junior lefty Jordan Jackson was flowing like the river Jordan, taking a no-hitter into the top of the sixth. He was removed for his brother, Jenner, who closed out the game on just 12 pitches in the seventh inning to secure the win.


SS girls beat Princeton in soccer

A scoreless deadlock turned into a win during recent road soccer action for the Lady Cats in district play.
Playing at Princeton, the two teams had battled for 80 minutes, still nothing in the net for either team.

Lady Cats lose 2-1 to Sherman

Sulphur Springs pitching ace Hailey Dixon held Sherman to three hits in Thursday night's district showdown at Lady Cat Park. But that third hit was a killer.

The Wildcats try to continue their winning ways when they host Sherman tonight in a key Disrict 13-4A baseball tilt.
The Wildcats and Bearcats clash for the JV game at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity game at 7:30 p.m. at Eagle Stadium.

First-place Lady Cats host Sherman

The best way to stay in first place in the District 13-4A race is to keep winning.
