Caddo Mills beats Cooper,35-6

CADDO MILLS - The Cooper Bulldogs took their first District 13-2A loss of the year falling to Caddo Mills, 35-6 here Friday night.
Caddo Mills had 362 total yards in the game while the Bulldogs managed 151 in the tough road game.
The bulk of the damage for Caddo Mills was done by running back Nate Jeffery. Jeffery had 282 yards rushing and three scores in the game.
Cooper was held scoreless in the first half. Caddo Mills struck for two second quarter touchdowns as Jeffery ran in on scoring dashes of 14 and 78 yards.
Jeffery added a one-yard scoring run and two, two point conversion runs.
Cooper’s lone score came in the final period when Ty Huie got in the end zone on a 25-yard run. The extra point was no good.
Caddo Mills went to 4-1, 2-0 with the victory.
Cooper fell to 3-1, 1-1.
The Bulldogs will host winless Alba-Golden on Oct. 9 in another district battle.
