COMO—The U10 Como-Pickton Eagles baseball team traveled to Omaha Saturday morning and won both games against the Texans.

In the first game, C-P jumped out to a six-run lead in the first inning then cruised to a 13 – 0 win.

Carson Watson picked up the win pitching, striking out five batters. Matthew Pegues pitched the last inning to preserve the shut out.

Trenton Carr, Carson Watson, and Michael Arnold had two hits each to lead the offense.

The Eagles won the second game 4-3. Parker Cummings, Colton Clark, and Michael Arnold handled the pitching duties, striking out eight Texans.

Gunner Morris lead the team in hitting with two singles and Carson Watson added a solo home run.

The Eagles (4-2) will play the Kilgore Patriots on Saturday Sept. 12 in Kilgore.

The team will play at Como Sept. 19 against Hughes Springs and Sept. 26 at home against Gladewater both at 4 p.m.
