Sulphur Springs took an 8-5 win over Mount Vernon. The team also won by scores of 12-1, and 7-1 in games played against Paris and Mount Vernon.

Chase Harry was the winning pitcher Sunday going six innings, allowing one run and striking out nine. Top hitters include Alejandro Rosales going 3-for-4, with two RBIs, Drew McCullough was 2-for-3 with an RBI; Whatley was 2-for-4.

Sulphur Springs plays  Broken Bow, Okla. today in the championship game at Coleman Park at 6 p.m. If Broken Bow wins, they take the title, Sulphur Springs must win twice to get the championship due to team records.

Sulphur Springs is undefeated in 9U action. They won games by scores of 11-1, 8-0, 19-1, 22-3, 8-4 and 19-2 against the Paris Nationals and American teams.
Sulphur Springs will meet the Paris Nationals for the title. With their undefeated record Sulphur Springs needs one more win to clinch the title. Paris would have to win twice to get first place.
