Tennis, food fun set in Tyler

TYLER — If you love tennis, want to involve the family in your favorite hobby and have the opportunity to donate to local children in need, come on out to the third Annual Charity Tennis Tournament benefitting Azleway Boys' Ranch.

Opening Ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. and will feature fun entertainment for the entire family.  Think you can beat your kid at a game of Wii Tennis? The Wii Tournament will be held in the Clubhouse.  Sign up early for a spot.  Do you have little ones with lots of energy?  A Kids Jumping Zone will be available to participant's families free of charge.  There will also be a Ping Pong Shootout, Motivational Speaker and dinner provided by El Charro's Restaurant.

Saturday's breakfast will be provided by Chik Fil A and lunch by Jersey Mike's.

If you're feelin' lucky, tickets will be available to purchase for your choice of multiple high end racquets, tennis bags and/or shoes.  You can also purchase tickets for the Big Raffle. Items include an inclusive weekend for two at John Newcombe's Tennis Ranch, one year Family Membership to Faulkner Park, iron and wood Rocking Bench made by the boys at the Azleway Charter School and a Painting by Jennifer Moreman. Tickets for both the Drawing and Big Raffle will be available all weekend.  Winners will be randomly selected during the Closing Ceremony on Sunday. Trophies provided for by Tyler Trophy.

Register online at www.usta.com, tournament ID# 809697109, at www.azleway.org or pick up an Entry Form at any local tennis facility. Deadline for registration is July 6th.
