E-mail Print PDF

Como-Pickton seventh grade female athletes that received the Ron Heflin Fighting Heart awards at Tuesday night's JH sports awards banquet are: Joy Den Hartog-track, Kendall Bain-basketball, and Mikaela Jacks-volleyball. The award is given in honor of a former C-P coach that was killed by a drunk driver during his line-of-duty to C-P athletes.

Erick Holder-football, Ruben Hernandez-track, Fernando Alonso-basketball, and (not pictured) Elijah Williams-cross country are the Como-Pickton seventh graders that were given the honor of the Ron Heflin Fighting Heart award at Tuesday's JH sports banquet. These recipients were presented their awards by JH principal Penny Armstrong and C-P athletic director Paul Tullis.
