P31 Fitness boot camp starts June 8

The P31 Fitness summer boot camp dates have been slated. Boot camp No. 1: June 8-July 2 and Boot camp No. 2: July 6-30  (four week/16 sessions) Monday-Thursdays only. Times: (two times each Boot Camp to chose from) 5:15-6:15 a.m. and 6:30 -7:30 a.m. at Buford Park (by skate park). For additional details visit the website: www.p31fitness.com. Note: Payment is due on or before the first day of boot camp. Participants must register online before the first day of your Boot Camp.

The camp offers different workouts each day. For example, resistance training, cardio, kickboxing, power yoga, and nutrition tips. Pre-evaluations and post-evaluations will be available to monitor progress.

About the instructor: Rachel Curtis has a BAS in exercise science and nutrition from Lubbock Christian University. She has worked at the Cooper Fitness Clinic where she received her fitness certification. Currently, she is the head volleyball coach for SSHS.

SFA  summer hoop camp

Lee Ann Riley Basketball Camps will host a position skills camp June 26-28 in Nacogdoches. The three day camp is a chance for players to focus on individual skills that will help take them to the next level. The camp is open to girls entering grades 6-12.

Members of the SFA Ladyjack basketball team and high school coaches will assist with the camp.

Campers will receive a camp T-shirt and basketball.
