In baseball action, North Hopkins scored 12 times off 12 hits as they whipped the Yantis Owls, 12-2.
Canyon Cockrum was the winning pitcher for North Hopkins.

In softball action, the North Hopkins Lady Panthers (8-4, 4-0) stayed undefeated in 12-A play with a 22-4 win over Sulphur Bluff.
Chastin Smith was 2-for-3 at the plate and got the pitching win with five strikeouts in the game called after three innings due to the mercy rule.
Ashley Bryant was the losing pitcher for Sulphur Bluff allowing 22 runs on 17 hits in three innings .
Top hitters for North Hopkins include: Crissy Hall, 3-for-3 with an inside-the-park grand slam home run; Jessica Harry amd Courtney Loper also had an inside-the-park homer and scored three times each; Cheyenne Duke and P.K.
