COMO — The Como-Pickton Lady Eagles hosted Grand Saline Tuesday loding by s 12-4 score.

The first three innings the Lady Eagles were not able to cross homeplate against the district opponent. It was hitting in the last four innings that C-P tried to make up the 7-0 gap.

Leading hitters for the Lady Eagles were Maci Kight with 2-for-3, one home run, and two RBIs; Shelby Harrison was 2-for-3 and one RBI; and Kaci Harmon with 1-for-3, one home run, one RBI.

Others contributing for C-P were Jessica Hendricks with 0-for-2, Megan McCoy with 1-for-3 and one run, Marbellis Rasgado with 0-for-2, Skye Brumley with 0-for-4, Christina Sandate with 2-for-3 with one run, and Violet Perez with 0-for-4.

McCoy threw for seven innings allowing 12 runs, one error, and 10 hits.

C-P will travel to Caddo Mills on Tuesday, April 14 and then will host Quitman the following Friday-both games will start at 6:30 p.m.
