SS ATA Martial Arts sets event
Sulphur Springs ATA Martial Arts will be holding their "Accept the Challenge 2009" Tournament on Saturday at 1 p.m.
The tournament is being sponsored by Fresh Start Investment Group and is open to all students of Sulphur Springs ATA Martial Arts.

The recent rain in the area has caused many games to be postponed.
The Sulphur Springs softball team took a 200-mile round trip to Texarkana Wednesday with only a stop of McDonalds to show for it.
Reports said the softball game at Texas High lasted two pitches before the rains came. The game will be made up Monday at 5 p.m.
The Wildcats did not do much better with their game at Texas High getting started, but it didn’t long with the threat of lightning forcing it to be called. The game will played today at 4:30 p.m.
The Como-Pickton Eagles went to Quitman Wednesday, but the baseball game was called due to rain.
