Soccer Lady Cats roll to 7-0 win

After dropping a recent district game, the Sulphur Springs Lady Cats regrouped and routed rival Paris, 7-0 in Tuesday home competition.
    “We got back to our winning ways. We took control of the game early,” said Jesus DeLeon, Lady Cats head soccer coach.

    Madison Ramirez and Esmeralda Sanchez each had two goals, two assists in the big win.
    Grace Grafton had two assists.
    Scoring one goal each were Iris Gutierrez, Myranda Pierce and Estefania Gudino.
    DeLeon said Ramirez won the player of the game honors.
    The Lady Cats scored four goals in the first half and closed out with three more in the final 40 minutes of play.
    Emily Hurley had two saves for another district shutout.
    The Lady Cats play Friday at North Lamar, JV at 5:30 p.m., varsity at 7:15 p.m.
