Sulphur Springs teams resume play today after a recent break caused by inclement weather.
The Wildcats will be at Princeton, taking on the No. 22 ranked Class 3A Panthers.

The Sulphur Springs junior varsity will play at 5 p.m. and the ninth grade take the floor at 6:15 p.m. in their auxiliary gym. The varsity boys will immediately follow the varsity girls at 7:30 p.m.
“Princeton, 4-6, is ranked in Class 3A, even with several losses. They have several starters returning from their regional team last year. We are excited about playing a high caliber team,” said Jeremy Josey, Sulphur Springs head boys basketball coach.
The Wildcats are 1-4, they only got to play one game in the recent Royse City tournament due to icy weather.
The Sulphur Springs Lady Cats will be at home today against John Tyler.
The junior varsity and varsity are slated to play, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The Lady Cats are 5-1 splitting two games in the recent Winnsboro Hoop Fest. Sulphur Springs defeated the Winnsboro JV and lost to state-ranked Martins Mill.
The Lady Lions come into the game tonight with a 7-4 record.
They took a 55-40 win over The Woodlands College Park in their finale in the Georgetown Tournament. Sophomore Ashtyn Beal has named to the all-tournament team.
