    It’s T. High week.
Not much else has to be said this week to get the Wildcats ready for battle.

Sulphur Springs and Texas High have been rivals and the thought of playing the Tigers gets their juices flowing.
Especially since the Wildcats are riding the momentum of the 63-28 win over Mount Pleasant. Willy Ivery had a game for the record books with seven total touchdowns and 314 all-purpose yards.
It’s easy to see why Sulphur Springs is rated the No. 1 offense in District 14-4A.
The Wildcats are averaging 480.8 yards and 43.1 points per game.
“We won and that was fantastic. We still have work to do and play, possibly, the best defense we have faced all year,” said Matt Young, Sulphur Spring offensive coordinator. “Obviously Willy had a great game and was helped by some solid blocking up front from Jess Jenkins, Landon Watkins, Brady Carrell, Spencer Bramlett, Isaac Perez, McLarry and Daniel Thompson.”
The coach continued, “As always down the field blocking led to some big runs.  Receivers Alex Burney and Isaiah Lacy had some nice receptions. So overall we are pleased, always happy with a win, but we have to go back to work Monday and make some corrections and improvements.”
The varsity  and JV Wildcats have been working out in the multi-purpose building due to the weather.
