Venue changed
for Wildcat
Hall of Honor
reception
    The venue for the Wildcat Hall of Honor reception today has been changed to the Multi-Purpose Facility.


     The reception is to honor the four athletes who will be inducted into the Hall of Honor this year: Lester Henley (Class of 1974), Shelby Bruhn (Class of 1994), Casey Osborn (Class of 1999) and Franki Jimmerson Cooper (Class of 2001).
  The reception will start at 5:15 p.m. in the meeting room inside the Multi-Purpose Facility adjacent to Sulphur Springs High School. Family, friends and Wildcat fans are invited to attend.  After the reception, the inductees will be introduced on the field at Gerald Prim Stadium before the game between the Wildcats and the Mount Pleasant Tigers.

vs. MP squad
    The Sulphur Springs Lady Cats will be in home district volleyball action today against Mount Pleasant.
    The varsity game will be at 4:30 p.m. followed by the freshman and junior varsity at 6 p.m.
    The Lady Cats need a district win to stay in the district race. Sulphur Springs is 1-3 in district. Mount Pleasant is 2-2.

play tonight
    The Cumby Trojans will be looking for a win today at Overton in a football clash set for 7:30 p.m.
    The teams open district play in the game tonight.
    Como-Pickton is at home playing district rival Alba-Golden at 7:30 p.m.
