Venue changed
for Wildcat
Hall of Honor
    The venue for the Wildcat Hall of Honor reception on Friday, Oct. 11, has been changed to the Multi-Purpose Facility.

     The reception is to honor the four athletes who will be inducted into the Hall of Honor this year: Lester Henley (Class of 1974), Shelby Bruhn (Class of 1994), Casey Osborn (Class of 1999) and Franki Jimmerson Cooper (Class of 2001).
 The reception will start at 5:15 p.m. in the meeting room inside the Multi-Purpose Facility adjacent to Sulphur Springs High School. Family, friends and Wildcat fans are invited to attend.
  After the reception, the inductees will be introduced on the field at Gerald Prim Stadium before the game between the Wildcats and the Mount Pleasant Tigers.
Cumby loses
to Yantis
    CUMBY — The Lady Trojans lost 25-19, 20-25, 25-20, 19-25, 15-10 at home in recent
volleyball action against Yantis.
    Cumby standouts were: Candice Horrocks - 12 points, 1 ace, 10 assists, 2 kills, 3 digs; Grace Campbell - 12 points, 3 kills, 3 digs; Alex Duck- 10 points, 3 kills, 1 dig;
Madison Thomas - 7 points, 4 kills, 12 digs, 1 assist; Demi McDonald - 3 points, 3 kills, 9 assists; Ashley Purser - 2 points, 1 kill, 10 digs; Kaylee Giles- 6 kills, 3 blocks.
Yantis defeats
Quinlan Boles
    The Yantis Lady Owls won in four sets against Quinlan Boles 25-18,25-16, 25-17, 25-21.
    Cumby standouts were: Lila Hurley had 2 digs; Angelica Sandoval, 11 aces, 5 tips, 4 digs, 2 kills; Lila Hurley, 2 digs; Ashley Bagwell, 6 kills, 5 aces, 3 tips; Molly Bell, 5 aces, 6 kills, 13 serves; Josey Wetzel, 5 aces, 1 block, 2 tips; Destiny Garces, 5 aces, 10 assists.
