The Sulphur Springs Lady Cats fell to 11-14 on the year, losing a home match Saturday in four games against Mineola.
“The varsity lost a hard fought match to Mineola in four sets on Saturday. The scores were 23-25, 25-11, 23-25, and 23-25,” said Michelle Rosen, Lady Cats head volleyball coach. “ Mineola came into the match ready to fight and compete, and it was a very intense, close match. We are playing well, but our biggest issue right now is learning how to finish a match and fight all the way through the end of a match.”
