“Harmony was physical and strong. I am proud of our effort against a very good football team,” said Conley Bland, Como-Pickton head coach. “We are going through a tough grind, but our players improved in several areas, even if the stats don't give that impression. We have to keep working to get better and stay the course and I think our players understand that. We won't change things by sitting out a year and our players will one day be rewarded for their hard work, but right now we are experiencing some tough times. One thing about football, each week is new and this is another week to get better.”
Como-Pickton will play at Winona at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13.
