Kickoff for high school football is just around the corner for the Wildcats.
Dwayne McMeans, Sulphur Springs administrative assistant, has announced that football season tickets for 2013 Sulphur Springs Wildcats home football games will go on sale Aug. 5-9.
Season ticket packages will cost $50 for five home games. The two Wildcats scrimmages this year will be at Liberty-Eylau, Friday, Aug. 16 and at Royse City on Thursday, Aug. 22.
The season opener is Aug. 30 at Gerald Prim Stadium against (Tyler) Robert E. Lee. The other home games are Whitehouse (homecoming), Mount Pleasant, Hallsville and Marshall (senior night). Away games are against Sherman, Paris, Corsicana, Texas High and Pine Tree.
The first two days of ticket sales Aug. 5-6, are open only to 2012 season ticket holders who wish to renew their tickets. Note- tickets sales on Tuesday will be at the multi-purpose building. On Wednesday, Aug. 7, those who have already renewed their tickets may upgrade their seating assignments, bases on the number of seats available.
All remaining seats go on sale to the general public, Thursday and Friday, Aug. 8-9. Sales will be conducted on all days 8:45 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m. All season tickets must be purchased at the SSHS Media center during hours listed. Patrons are asked to use the Connally Street entrance on the east side of the high school.
Ticket holders who are unable to pick up their own tickets may designate an agent to pick up tickets for them. But tickets must be paid for with the ticket holder’s check made out to SSHS or SSISD and accompanied by a letter of authorization.
