Camps continue in Sulphur Springs with tennis and soccer being held this week.
Head soccer coach Andy Holt reported more than 75 in attendance at the boys and girls soccer camp this week.
The camp started Monday and ends today with drills conducted at the high school. Students in younger grades were taught fundamentals of the game in the multi-purpose building, older students were taught and practiced outdoors. High school coaches along with former students and coaches from other schools, gave instruction.
Randy Namanny’s tennis camp was held at the high school with more than 40 students in attendance. The camp was open to students in grades K-12. The younger students, had camp from 8-10 a.m. with the older students taking part from 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. The camp ends Friday.
Wildcat football camp is 8-11 a.m. July 23-25 for students entering grades 3-8. Price is $45 per student, call coach Greg Owens at 903-885-2158. Freshman football camp is July 23-25, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., $20 per student, call Owens.
Volleyball camp is July 22-24, 9 a.m. to noon, students entering grades 4-8. Price is $50 per student, call coach Michelle Namanny 513- 535-8151.
Freshman camp is 1-4 p.m. A volleyball clinic is set July 25-26 for 9-12 grades, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call Michelle Namanny.
