Colby Suggs
on roll with Hogs
 FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Former Sulphur Springs Wildcat Colby Suggs is doing well as a relief pitcher for the Arkansas Razorbacks.


 Suggs earned three saves this week, as he notched saves in Razorback victories over University of Georgia (2-0, 2-1) and Missouri State University (6-3).
 Suggs, a 6-foot junior team captain, has 10 saves.

    The Sulphur Bluff Bears take on Harleton in a best-of-three playoff baseball series. 
    Game 1 is today at 6 p.m.; Game 2, Friday, at 5 p.m., Game 3, if needed, to follow. All games will be played at the Texas High baseball field in Texarkana.

Basketball
games set
    The May spring basketball league is set at Paris High on Monday nights May 13, 20 all age groups 5/6 thru varsity girls. Cost for league will be $25 a game.
    On May 18, Paris HS play day is set 3/4 5/6 7/8 JV, varsity boys and girls. The May 25 play day at New Boston 3/4 through varsity boys and girls cost $25 per game. On June 6, 11, 18 and 25 summer league games will be played at Chapel Hill MP JV and Varsity girls division. On June 3, 10, 17, 20, Cooper summer league for 5/6 and 7/8 girls. On June 6, 13, 20, 27 Paris summer league for 7/8, JV and varsity girls. On June 8, LaPoynor 5/6 thru varsity play day boys and girls. On June 15, North Lamar 5/6 through varsity boys and girls play days. On June 15, New Summerfield play day, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, varsity boys and girls cost $25 a game two game guarantee.
