Cumby players get all-district honors

CUMBY — Several players from Cumby were recognized for standout efforts during the football season and named to the All-District 10-1A, Division II team released by coaches.
Newcomer of the Year - Travis Taylor, freshman of Cumby.

   Named to the first team defense - Glenn Goode, end, senior; Brandon Jones, outside linebacker, senior; Cody Anderson, inside linebacker.
   Selected for the first team offense - James Evans, Goode, linemen; Caleb Penland, senior end and receiver, Jones.
   Second team defense - Penland, line and Luke Sartin, senior, secondary.
   Second team offense - Anderson, full back and Colton Speights, senior running back.
   Special teams - first team, senior Charlie Potts, punter and kicker.
