Lady Cats rally over T. High

Maci McGlamery's bases-loaded infield single scored Gracie Cable from third to give the Sulphur Springs Lady Cats a 3-2 lead and starting pitcher Hailey Dixon shut down a Texas High rally as the Lady Cats opened district 1-0 Monday night at Lady Cat Park.

Sulphur Springs wins district baseball opener, 3-1

The SulphurSprings Wildcats scored three runs early and made them standup, downing Royse City 3-1 in the District 13-4A debut for both clubs Monday night at Eagle Stadium.
Southpaw hurler Kris Ford got the win on the hill for the Wildcats, facing 28 batters in 6 1/3 innings, allowing one run off seven hits, no walks, striking out six. Jenner Jackson got the save facing three batters, allowing one hit before he recorded the final two outs of the game.
