WIldcats scrimmage NL in baseball

The weather and early injuries are hampering the Wildcats baseball team.
Sulphur Springs opted for a scrimmage Thursday night vs. Rains, just in case the field conditions are too wet to hold the scheduled scrimmage today at home against North Lamar for an eight inning scrimmage.

Yantis girls lose in basketball playoffs

LONE OAK — The playoffs ended quickly for the Yantis Lady Owls, falling 30-26 at Lone Oak High School in bi-district Class 1A girls postseason action against Celeste.
The Lady Blue Devils, who had defeated Yantis earlier in the year, had the Lady Owls’ number again taking the close win.
