Sulphur Bluff falls in playoffs

HAWKINS — The Sulphur Bluff Bears fell 65-32 to state-ranked Douglass in the Class 1A Div. II UIL bi-district basketball playoffs.
Sulphur Bluff fell behind early, trailing 20-6 at the end of one quarter. The Indians stayed on the warpath scoring 13 points in the second frame to go ahead 33-12 at intermission.
Douglass got 23 points from Reed Westbrook, Blake and Matthew Wallace scored 10 each.
